Costume Standards
Generic Jedi or Sith provide the most options for customization and self-expression, borrowing elements from multiple eras.
Generics are the most common costume and the best entry for new members often being the first and sometimes fifth costume for many given the flexibility and general ease of making these costumes.
Armored Old Republic costumes are based on the Star Wars: The Old Republic video game. They blend Jedi soft parts with armor that lend to a striking image.
These costumes may be challenging for both new and seasoned members but they are rewarding when you see them in performances.
The Sith Acolyte, is an armored figure, cloaked in shadow and armed instruction in the Sith arts. While still not a Sith Lord, they are not just the Sith equivalent of a Padawan, they can be a challenge even for the Jedi Knights of the Republic.
The High Republic Temple Uniform is ornate and beautiful, generally for use within a Jedi Temple where combat is unlikely.
These costumes are often made of bright white fabrics with gold trim, creating an elegant profile from a more civilized age.
While the High Republic Temple uniform is more ceremonial and made for inside the Temple, Jedi don’t live just inside those walls. When it’s time to go out into the wilds of the universe and bring the Light to those who are threatened by the darkness, a more rough-ready uniform is better suited for use.
Jedi Consulars and Sith Sorcerers were a class that focused on mastering the mysteries of the Force. While capable in saber combat, they specialize in use of the Force directly.
The Jedi Archivist (aka Jedi Librarian) and Sith Antiquarians are the record keepers and lore masters of their respective orders.
These costumes are usually signified by ornate tabards with geometric designs and are often lacking a leather belt worn by their more common counterparts.
The imposing members of the Imperial Inquisition were charged with finding and removing the last vestiges of the old Jedi Order, rooting out the crumbling foundation of the former Republic, and gathering up Special Assets that will be vital to the stability of the Galactic Empire.
